Aloha Santa
Aren't you impressed? Two layouts done in one day! I had pulled these photos out to use for a sketch yesterday, but then changed my mind.....or really went to bed! lol! This morning I decided the pictures didn't need a 2 page layout. As long as you can see Gramps and David in the bottom right photo so you know just how BIG these things are, everything is all good!
Layout is based on sketch from Becky Fleck's Page Maps. The particular sketch is on page 110 of the book, but she has LOTS of sketches on her site!
Products used:
KI Memories paper and chipboard
Doodlebug jellies
American Craft stickers
Gramps' Special Gift
Um, yeah, well where do you think I get MY warped sense of humor from?? So Gramps, ED, gave the boys these wonderful shirts for Christmas. Only more perfect because someone else made them, so there are other people out there with our whacked sense of humor. We still chuckle when one of the boys wears their shirt! (and can you see the sharks "circling" the boys??)
Layout is based on Sketch 237 from Sketch Inspirations.

Blue & Gold
Boy Scouts birthday party back in February 2007. I had the hardest time finding paper that worked with both the theme and the colors! I mean, REALLY, all that tan and blue...... Anyway, this layout met another challenge over at Scrapdango: paper with words on it, and some type of computer element (journaling).
Products Used:
Creative Imaginations papers
Prima flowers
Lasting Impressions brads
American Craft Thickers
Scenic Route chipboard
QK font
MM date stamp

Root for the Home Team
Been a while I guess! wow! hadn't realized it had 6 months. sheesh! maybe I forgot to post some here? I sure hope so! lol!! anyway, a baseball game....this one we took a neighbor too. it was $1 hot dog and dessert night. the boys were allowed to eat as many desserts as they ate hot dogs. they topped out at 5 of each! lol!!
layout is based on Sketch Inspiration #236. I love that she is doing some 2 pagers now! the layout is also used for a challenge over at Scrapdango that required an "action photo", a circle, something conveying motion, and extra credit if you used the word "team". check, check, check, check! sure love it when I can cover a bunch of bases with one layout! lol!!
products used:
Simple Stories paper
Lil Davis tape
Fiskar's arrow punch
7 Gypsies arrow photo anchors
We Are Memory Keepers chipboard alphas (I covered with patterned paper to make them match.)
let's hope it isn't another 6 months before my next layout.......afterall, I just ordered 428 pictures from Snapfish. haven't used the ones I bought LAST Labor Day weekend yet!
