Oh Rats! and cards
David's rats. It was hard to get decent pictures of them with the cage bars, etc.
Products used:
BoBunny papers
Doodlebug ric rac and glitter brad
Little Yellow Bicycle Felt Ribbon
KI Soup
American Craft flowers & stickers
These cards use the same papers (front and backs) for 2 totally different looks. They are based on the Operation Write Home Sketch #154 and even meet their "use flowers" challenge. I know it is early for a Mother's Day Card, but the rub-on was perfect for the card!

Love how you used the flower for the center of the card - very pretty addition. For OWH, it is NEVER to early for cards!!!
ReplyDeleteYour cards look great! I too like the flower in the center - it looks very fresh and spring like : ) I agree better to be a little early with cards for OWH than too late : )
ReplyDeleteLove that you used a flower for the center! Both cards are so bright and happy and remind me that spring will be coming!
ReplyDeleteNice cards! Great to see two different cards made from same paper and sketch. The flower is the perfect touch. TFS!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards and LO! Rats...I have had guinea pigs so I guess I could deal with them. Love the flowers! tfs!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I love your page! My boys are into obscure pets. "Just no spiders.." is my rule. Right now we have ferrets. It's amazing how strange fuzzy creatures can become such a fun and unexpected part of our lives. And our scrapbooks... ... Where was I? Oh, I stopped by to see your sketch cards! Well done! :)
ReplyDeletePretty cards, I know two moms who are going to really love them!
ReplyDeleteSuper pretty cards. I love them both.
ReplyDeleteCute layout, and terrific cards Susan. I would have been scared to death to use such bold, patterned papers but you matched them beautifully. Your choice of flowers in the centers is great. Thanks for playing!
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful use of spring-time colors! I really like those cards and this sketch is a winner :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards, Susan, that will truly brighten someone's day! Love the bold and cheerful DPs!
