Lots of Thanks & a Birthday

After having visitors in the office last week, my boss asked me to make some Thank You cards to send to the visitors. Since I do not know them very well, I made cards I thought were nice. Hopefully they will too!

This card is based on Operation Write Home Sketch #156. As you can see, I took some liberties with it.

Products:
Crate Paper paper and die cut
QK
Accent Depot brads

This card isn't based on a sketch. I am still working through the bits and pieces from the card kit I sent out in November!

Products used:
KI paper
misc paper
Prima flowers
KI and Doodlebug rhinestones

This fuzzy looking card is "homework" for Operation Write Home's Bootcamp - The ABC's of Color. I used the complimentary colors of orange and blue. Honestly, I had planned on using this paper for this card before the assignment came along. Why? Well, because I saw THIS card by Kristie and couldn't resist scraplifting it! I LOVE this design! I can see this being one of my "go to" card layouts! I masculine-ed it up by forgoing the doily.

Products used:
Crate Paper
QK
misc star punch
Queen & Co micro brads

I also had to make a few Thank Yous for my birthday.  I somehow misread the stamp and thought it said "thanks from the bottom of my heart." Oh well!!

Products used:
KI and Scrapworks papers
SU stamp
Spellbinders die

And last but not least, here is the card I made for a friends birthday last night. I had started the card awhile ago and believe it is based on a PageMaps card sketch. It was halfway done and I finished it last night so may or may not look anything like the original sketch!

Oh my you've been busy. Nice group of cards. For today's homework - I like the two colors -- orange and blue -- the plaid paper is nice in the background.

I can totally understand why you scrapl-lifted Kristie's layout and it's great that you showed a masculine variation too. The lighter shade of blue offsets the warmth oranges nicely too. Sometimes if the complementary colors are of equal intensity it can be overwhelming. Nice job. Thanks for sharing it!
